The Steller’s Jays class has created this beautiful 24x24 canvas painting of all the Steller’s Jays students’ handprints, circled around the symbol of Golestan School, with the three school values (kind, thoughtful, and courageous). A Steller’s Jay is seated at the bottom corner of the Golestan logo to acknowledge the Steller’s Jays class. This painting represents diversity for the children and community of Golestan as a whole, as well as a representation of equality and togetherness, friendship, community, and love for this amazing school. The Steller’s Jays have been learning about the importance of all of these values and how practicing these values can build a peaceful, cohesive society.
